Floods kill 20 people in south of Iran Twenty people have died as a result of floods and heavy rain in Iran's southern provinces of Hormozgan and Sistan-Balouchistan, state television reported Tuesday. Four people were found dead in the town of Iranshahr and another 10 were corpses were found in the city of Sarbaz, both in the south-eastern province of Sistan-Balouchistan, after the rivers overflowed due to heavy rains. Another 6 people were also found dead in the southern province of Hormozgan. Five of them were killed after the bridge they were crossing was demolished by floods.
