Two dead as storms, floods hit Turkey's south: report Search teams on Tuesday recovered the bodies of two men killed in the storms and flooding that have battered the southern Turkish province of Antalya since Sunday, the Anatolia news agency reported. Turkish paramilitary troops found the body of one man in a car that was carried away by flood waters on a stretch of road from the main city of the province bearing the same name to the town of Manavgat towards the east. Alerted by locals, the coast guard found the body of the second victim, a 49-year-old man, at the mouth of a river next to the town of Demre, Anatolia reported. The man was apparently swept away by the water as he was collecting wood from the river. All rights reserved. © 2005 Agence France-Presse.
