Outrage over the GOP's healthcare bill spilled out of a town hall event and onto the roads in Tennessee over the weekend.

On Saturday, Wendi Wright, a 35-year-old woman from Obion County, followed a car carrying Congressman David Kustoff, R-Tenn., and his aide. When Kustoff's ride finally stopped, Wright got out of her car, screamed at the politician and attacked his vehicle, banging on the windows and reaching into the car.

Passengers in the followed car told police they were afraid they'd be run off the road. The group rerouted and drove to a nearby friend's residence, where they were confronted by Wright.

The woman blocked the victims' car in the driveway, but left after the police were called.

Authorities tracked down the woman and arrested her after she shared a detailed account of the incident on Facebook. She was charged with felony reckless endangerment. Wright was released from jail after posting $1,000 bond.

Kustoff was one of 217 House Republicans who voted in support of the American Health Care Act, the GOP's Obamacare replacement.

Republican's previous failed attempt to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act inspired public backlash. The latest effort has again sparked anger among constituents, many of whom have expressed their discontent at local town hall meetings.
