Gamesa signs China deal for sale of 12 wind turbines
MADRID (AFP) Mar 31, 2004
Spain's Gamesa group, one of the world's main wind turbine manufacturers, said on Wednesday it had signed a deal worth 5.14 million euros (6.2 million dollars) to sell 12 turbines to China's Ningxia Electric Power.

The 850 kW turbines, due to come on stream from July, will be installed at the Ningxia-Helanshan wind farm in northwestern China, Gamesa said.

Gamesa, which operates in 14 countries, said it was setting great stall by its operations in China, where it said 113 of its turbines were now in operation.
