Under the terms of a 95-million-euro (115-million-US-dollar) deal, Vestas is to install 1.65 megawatt generators near the western town of Geraldton by November 2005, providing total capacity of just under 90 megawatts of electricity.
Walkaway Wind Power is a joint venture of Renewable Power Ventures, Babcock and Brown, and National Power and Carbon Solutions, a Vestas statement said.
