Moderate earthquake in Russia's Far East
VLADIVOSTOK, Russia (AFP) Nov 04, 2004
A moderate earthquake measuring up to 5.5 on the Richter scale rocked Pacific waters off Russia's north eastern city of Magadan, local seismologists said early Thursday.

The tremor's epicenter was located 20 kilometers from Magadan in the Okhotsky Sea, officials said.

No casualties or damage were immediately reported, but more tremors could be expected, officials said.
