Ten dead or missing as severe flooding hits central Vietnam
HANOI (AFP) Nov 13, 2003
At least five people were killed and another five were missing after severe floods hit central Vietnam, cutting off several villages, state television reported.

Phu Yen, Ninh Phuan and Khanh Hoa provinces have all been hit by serious flooding caused by torrential rain, while Binh Dinh and Quang Nai were less seriously affected.

Local authorities have called for the army to help them reach villages which have been particularly badly hit, Vietnam Television said, adding that road and rail traffic has been disrupted.
