KATHMANDU (AFP) Nov 22, 2003 A mild tremor measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale Saturday jolted the Pokhara Valley, a popular tourist destination in western Nepal, but no damage or injuries were reported.
The tremor lasted for 20 second at 10:52 am (0437 GMT) and panicked residents of the valley, which is a major gateway for trekkers in the Himalayas, the Department of Mines and Geology said in a statement.
