Four people suspected of contracting SARS taken to hospital

 Four people suspected of having contracted SARS, including three Asian tourists, were taken Tuesday to hospital in Edinburgh and kept in isolation, health officials said.

"Some people were brought in overnight and are being kept in isolation as a precaution whilst investigations take place," a hospital spokeswoman said.

"A public health plan has been put in place and officials are aware. In the interests of patient confidentiality, we cannot say any more at this point," she added.
