![]() KATHMANDU (AFP) Nov 15, 2005 A Nepalese army Avro aircraft left for Pakistan Tuesday morning carrying almost 3.4 tons of relief materials for earthquake victims there, an army statement said. The aid collected by the army, police and other agencies includes sleeping bags, tents and clothes for over 2,000 families. It is being sent in four phases of which this is the last, the statement said. The quake last month killed nearly 74,000 people and left more than three million without homes.
