Fog disrupts Belgian airport
BRUSSELS (AFP) Nov 20, 2005
Thick fog severely disrupted flights into and out of Belgium's Charleroi airport south of Brussels at the weekend, a spokesman said Sunday.

On Saturday a small number of flights were able to leave, while landings were diverted to other airports. But on Sunday the fog remained, paralysing the airport, which in particular serves as a hub for Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair.

"All flights are cancelled until it lifts," said airport spokesman Pierre Fernemont.
