Enea Provides Iridium Support To Boeing

Enea Embedded Technology in U.S. has gained renewed fidelity for year 2004 providing support and development to the Boeing Iridium Program. Iridium is a digital, satellite-based, wireless communications network. The $2.5M order comprises exclusively services.

"This contract is a positive confirmation of the demand for our real- time competence within one of the most demanding applications," Ola Berglund, CEO Enea Embedded Technology, says. "This contract in combination with other contracts we have signed in U.S., strengthens further more our position on the US market."

WCC Is One of First to Offer Iridium's Short Burst Data Services

World Communication Center (WCC) announced Wednesday that they are offering Iridium's newest data service, Short Burst Data (SBD). The Iridium Short Burst Data service is designed for applications that send and receive short data messages ranging from one to 1960 bytes in size, ideal for situations such as asset tracking, remote telemetry, or pipeline monitoring.
