StarBand, America's first high-speed, two-way satellite Internet provider to residential and small office customers, today announced the national launch of the new StarBand 481 Residential service. This new service provides residential customers the satellite industry leading upload speeds at an affordable monthly fee ranging from $69.99 to $89.99 per month based on term commitment length.

With the high-performance StarBand 481 Residential service, customers receive download speeds up to 500 kbps, upload speeds routinely up to 100 kbps in Turbo Mode, limited VPN capabilities, connectivity with Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux operating systems, ten free e-mail accounts, free basic Web hosting and an optional static IP address.

"We are extremely excited about the launch of the StarBand 481 Residential service, as it supplies a much needed speed improvement to the residential high-speed Internet satellite marketplace," said StarBand President and Chief Executive Officer Zur Feldman.

"Later this year, StarBand will launch several more new products that exceed the expectations of our customers. Stay tuned as the best is yet to come."

"StarBand is delivering on our promise to continue launching new products and services meeting the needs of our customers. The StarBand 481 Residential service introduction is our fifth major release in the past five months," states StarBand's Vice President of Marketing, Howard Lossing.
