U.S. Citizen Olsen Resumes Training In Russia For Space Tourism Mission

U.S. millionaire Gregory Olsen, who could not go on a tourist trip to space last year for health reasons, is restarting his training in Russia's Star Town in preparation for a visit to the ISS, Interfax reports.

Gregory Olsen, 58, a graduate of Princeton University, was getting ready for a flight to the ISS in the Russian Star Town in the spring and summer of 2004, but a health committee removed him from the course for medical reasons.

Olsen's health has improved over the last year, which means he can continue with his preparatory training and then fly to the International Space Station, a press release from the company Space Adventures was quoted by Interfax.

Space Adventures is the only company specializing in space tourism. Its first clients were American Dennis Tito in 2001 and South African Mark Shuttleworth in 2002.
